Garage48 Helsinki: List of ideas pitched on the floor

We have about 120 people gathered to Aalto Venture Garage and people pitch ideas. Here are the list of ideas pitched on the stage. Everyone had 90 seconds to pitch followed by 2-3 questions. After pitching all participants have to choose their favorite idea and form a team. The teams that got enough team members will be marked as "Approved". Other ideas will be shut down.
1. APPROVED > SportStock. Game of sports teams handled as companies in stock market. They increase in value, go bankrupt, have other changes in their lifetime.
2. APPROVED > TranSpotr. See on the map best areas to move in. Visualization of local rent, living conditions, transport etc.

3. APPROVED > Let’s Meet Here! Send meeting requests to friends from widget on venue (museum, restaurant, club etc) website to meet at that venue.
4. APPROVED > AidBook. A website to make sense of the development assistance. Support organisations don’t know what others are doing - make a transparent marketplace for sharing information & knowledge.
5. CLOSED > Share Hub. Don’t buy more stuff: borrow & re-use conveniently. Share stuff with people you trust: friends & friends of friends.
6. APPROVED > WTF? Really simple feedback tool for websites - unlike GetSatisfaction or other more complicated products.
7. CLOSED > DrinkTracker / BoozeOff. Track, share and manage your alcohol drinking.
8. APPROVED > TableOrdering. Making an order at bar or restaurant via mobile phone, when lazy restaurant staff don’t come to your table and you need a refill.
9. CLOSED > Traffel.info. Travel community site for interacting with local travel service providers. See incoming tourists and offer services to them. Not too focused on hotels and plane tickets, but other activities and venues.
10. CLOSED > Catalog’s Portal. Aggregator of advertising and direct marketing catalogues.
11. APPROVED > iTaxi. Call a Taxi from mobile, using location based service.
12. APPROVED > Social Instapaper. App for finding & reading content for Kindle: web articles, links people share etc.
13. APPROVED > Start-Up. Simple & easy to use accounting software for startups. Basic invoicing & debit/credit to get started.
14. APPROVED > FlowerShop.com. Design a flower bouquet online, order it, share the order on social media. Remember occasions when to send flowers.
15. CLOSED > PriceWar. Mobile price comparision application. Shopping list -> choose area -> cheapest stores. OCR based crowdsourced price data collection from receipts.
16. APPROVED > DirtyWall. Location based messagewall. Post fun photos, links, comments for a venue. No more messing the toilet walls. 4chan on Foursquare.
17. CLOSED > Hottest in Town. Rank waitresses or waiters based on their hotness. You don’t want to be in a place where an ugly waitress brings you a beer!
18. APPROVED > Idea Pitcher Hub. Service to find co-founders, match with other startup people, solve problems, create virtual teams fast. Like an online version of Garage48 events.
19. CLOSED > ShopPreOrder. Make a supermarket order and pick it up as one delivery from shop. No time spent picking goods or standing in cashier queue.
20. APPROVED > Mii. Control a robot kit from your mobile phone.

21. APPROVED > Footprints. Mobile app that sends your location data in background in real time and notifies about your friends sips, postings & locations.
22. CLOSED >Angry "something". It's a game. That's it. Need to figure out the game idea. Need creative ideas.
23. CLOSED > TNAB "the new angry birds" - Mobile games with touch input. Levels, related to puzzles, drawing lines. No idea of characters yet. Suggest ideas!
24. APPROVED > Lap times for racing cars. All racing cars has GPS enabled data logging device on board. They get lots of log files and they would like to improve lap times via improving setup. Build a web-service to visualise lap times and race faster. Targeting global niche market. Cheapest way to get to faster lap times!
25. CLOSED > Personal Connections Tracker. Software to be a better person and keep a contact with people you care. Get information how often you communicate to other people (phones, calendar, pictures, etc). Set goals and get reminders not to forget your friends, relatives and cared ones.
26. CLOSED > Real time customer service for web applications. Service can be integrated to your application/website. The service monitors error situations on the site (not able to login etc) or users can start the chat. Then customer service can react in real time to solve the issues and problems on the website, support customers.
27. CLOSED > Scoreboard. Real life games have no web based and simple scoreboards (darts, video games, smaller soccer games etc).
28. CLOSED > Getting things done. Problem: people have small and simple things to do, but you don't time for those tasks. Build a web service to list your problem and price, people can take the task. People providing services can have reviews in order to be reliable. Take a stake from the task price.
29. CLOSED > Rrrr-stage. Revolutionize real-estate portals. Adding Google Maps to portals is done. What's next? Find new ways to find living space - social media etc.
30. APPROVED > Blow the dust. Gold miner going to a planet? Find nuggets, covered with layer of dust. Use power of your lungs to blow off the dust (via microphone of mobile phone). More interesting features might come (too fast, too slow). Lets figure out the mechanics, it's going to be a fun game.
31. CLOSED > Mashup Last.fm & Spotify. Login with last.fm account and get your recommended tracks list of your last.fm recommendations and plays the things on Spotify.
