Get Ready!

You will need to bring your own laptop, and have it preloaded with the software listed here. An extension cord would help as well.

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (fullversion or the free trial), Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 SP1, or Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition with SP1
• SQL Server 2005 Express Edition (or above) (this is usually installed with Visual Studio)
• Install the Windows Azure Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio (and some hotfixes)
• Install the AppFabric SDK
• Install the Windows Azure Platform Training Kit
