Garage48 is hiring a project manager

We wish to take Garage48 events and HUB to a next level by improving the quality and offering more value to the community. Therefore we are seeking for a new talent to our team, who will get a postition as Project Manager.
Garage48 was started in Estonia in spring 2010 by 6 active entrepreneurs from Estonian Startup Leaders Club. Today Garage48 Foundation works as a startup company, but the main goal is not to make money but to promote entrepreneurship and build startup community in Estonia, Northern Europe and Africa. Today Garage48 Foundation organizes Garage48 events in Norther Europe and Africa and runs Garage48 HUB in central Tallinn, Estonia. 
As a Project Manager you are responsible of all daily activities in Garage48 Foundation. Organizing and administering the work of Garage48 HUB, as well as helping organizing Garage48 events in Estonia and abroad. We expect new team member to be bright person and be fluent in Estonian and English (any additional language is a plus).
You are not afraid of long workdays, you can and will take responsibility and make decisions alone and you are also good in going through any needed bureaucratic documents and budgets. In addition you have had experience with organizing events. You understand the concept of "startup business", its' risks and opportunities.

- Managing and organizing the daily activities of Garage48 Foundation
- Project management and preparation of Garage48 events
- Communication with Garage48 partners in different countries
- Organizing the work and management of Garage48 HUB (events, daily activities, community)
- It's not 9-17 work, but there is a need to be present for most of the day at Garage48 HUB (Tallinn, Estonia). Often you will make long workdays.
- Fluent in English and Estonian, both written and oral, in addition Russian and Finnish are a plus
- Has experience in organizing events, conferences
- Knows what Startup business means and is eager to learn more about it
- Most importantly being able to work independently and being a good team-player, nice person and good communicator
- Knows what deadlines mean and holds on to them

Its good to hear that garage 48 turn eye towards African countries ,i am little sad coz i cannot apply for the post of project manager because of the Estonian language.I wish one day garage 48 reach into the summit of the word.
