Michael is a charismatic young Kenyan man with a technical bend. His entrepreneurial spirit has led him to create and lead Shujaa Solutions Ltd, a company specializing in mobile technologies especially premium SMS, mobile applications and middleware. A trained and certified computer engineer, Michael has worked for various companies including Wavemarket Inc, Canada, Telkom Kenya and MobilePlanet. He holds a Computer Engineering degree from McGill University, Canada. During his tenure as a student, he worked with various professors and members of staff. He has currently deferred his MBA at USIU Nairobi while he sets up shop. He is CompTIA Networking+® certified. Aaron is the Founder and CTO of dataposIT Limited. Aaron has a background heavy in academics where he holds a BSc Hons and MSc Hons in Chemical Engineering both from MIT. He founded dataposIT in 2007 after leaving the academic world and has grown the business to an enterprise that boasts annual revenues in the tens of millions of shillings and still experiencing exponential growth. Jessica Colaco

Jessica is a Mobile Tech Evangelist – a passion for which has seen her organize the first MobileBootCamp in Kenya; the first Facebook Developer Garage in Kenya; Co-Found AkiraChix, as well as collaborate with several institutions as lead researcher in various research studies. This and other efforts have seen her named TED Fellow 2009, as well as one of Kenya’s Top 40 Under 40 women in 2009 and 2011.
She has been the iHub Manager since its inception in March 2010, and has been instrumental in courting local, regional and international stakeholders to adopt Kenyan-made solutions. And as Lead Research at R@iHub – iHUb’s research arm, she is transferring her passion for putting Kenya on the map for technology achievements and spurring innovation in Kenya.
She is passionate about Mobile development, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and mentorship, and has been instrumental in mentoring young techpreneurs in Kenya.
