Location and Venue
Garage48 Tallinn is co-organized and hosted by Technopolis Ülemiste, the Smart Business City located in the vicinity of Tallinn Airport.
Location
Garage48 Tallinn event will take place in Technopolis Ülemiste "Zappi House", Lõõtsa 6, Entrance "A" or "D" (see on Google Maps). The house is named by Walter Zapp (1905-2003) – Inventor of the Minox mini-camera. The Zappi house with his glass atrium and spacious bright food-court City Platz is one of Ülemiste City’s most prominent limestone buildings.
Parking
We recommend to use one of two large big parking lots, which are free. In case you want to park in front of the entrance of Zappi House, there is a parking fee. Select Zone EP35, 30 minute parking fee is 0,5 Euros and 24-hour parking costs 6 Euros.
Sleeping at the venue
Ülemiste offering floor-space in 2 rooms for foreign participants of Garage48 in case they would like to save on hotel costs. Please bring your own sleeping bag and mattress. There are several toilets in the venue, but unfortunately there are no showers.
Showers and Sauna are available in Ülemiste Hotel, located about 700m from the venue. Fitness center is from 11am both days. When you arrive to the Hotel just tell the receptionist keyword Garage48 / Ülemiste City and you can use or shower. Price is 7€/per person and can be paid to the reception.
There is also sauna (suitable for max 10-12 persons) and it costs €30 per hour. Sauna needs to be booked 1 hour before.
