Garage48 Hackathons Idea Garage Student Startup Camp Base Camp

A Garage48 Hackathon is a 48-hour intense weekend marathon, where up to 150 participants gather in a big room and pitch about 20 to 30 ideas on stage, with the aim for turning those ideas into viable prototypes.

Our hackathons are shaped around diverse focus points varying from theme-based ones with IT skillset requirements, to MAKE-ATHON events where the main focus is on creating physical objects instead of IT-based prototypes (e.g. Wood, Hardware & Arts series, Defence etc.).

Host a hackathon!

Idea Garage is a 1-day event where participants from different fields come together and pitch various ideas, form teams and build paper-prototypes in an accelerated format. The main aim is to spread basic awareness about the given topic and get an initial validation on ideas. The event gathers together around 40 to 80 participants and lasts 8 hours. It is similar to our regular hackathon format with shortened time scale and even more intense set-up.

It is the perfect event to pilot-test your ideas and lay the foundations of a viable business plan.

Host an Idea Garage!

A Student Startup Camp is a 5-day course, dedicated to university students to focus on teamwork, intensive mentoring, hands-on experiences about specific topics in respect of launching a tech startup.

By the end of the week, students are expected to submit a working prototype. All students are guided by top-notch mentors as a part of Garage48 format.

BaseCamp is Garage48’s brand-new, exclusive hackathon format, built in cooperation with Superangel, in order to help young, future unicorns and provide them with the necessary care, funding and advice through Super Angel Alpine House Programme - 12-month altitude training for startups.
