  • Welcome to Garage48 anthropology Idea Garage!

It is about time to take on a trip to the exciting field of anthropology and we invite you to join in the flight!

The aim of Idea Garage is to encourage participants to propose and validate new ideas with the help of mentors in the field of anthropology.
Our amazing anthropology and technical mentors are there to help your ideas develop and get ready to fly.

The workshop is intended for everybody who has a curiosity in anthropology and isn’t afraid to tackle the subject, no matter your background. Students, practitioners, scientists, entrepreneurs, visionaries as well as anthropologists, technologists, developers, engineers, project managers, marketeers are all welcome.

We will gather in the morning and will start work in small groups with the purpose to find questions for the following questions:
    • what kind of a problem the idea solves
    • detail the solution
    • identify the target customers and the market
    • see if there is a sustainable (business) model for the solution
    • discuss what could be the scope of the initial prototype – is there anything what can be built during 48h hackathon.

Every group will prepare a presentation and a small pitch to introduce the outcomes of the work to all participants. The best ideas presented will receive special and amazing awards from the jury.
